Alaina Pizzoferrato
Lighting Designer
Alaina Pizzoferrato Alaina Pizzoferrato is a theatrically trained Lighting Designer & Programmer based in Las Vegas, originally from Lemont, Illinois. She has designed shows in Chicago, Cincinnati, Kentucky, and most recently was a lighting programmer for Busch Gardens in Tampa. Some recent work includes Lighting Designer for Kinky Boots at the Carnegie (nominated for best Lighting Design on BroadwayWorlds), associate lighting designs with LD Thomas Hase for Carmen, Tosca, Barber of Seville, and Hydrogen Jukebox (won 1st Place for Best Collegiate Production from the National Opera Association Awards), and a multitude of lighting design work while at grad school (CCM).

Alaina received her BFA degree in Theatre Design and Production at Millikin University, and her MFA degree in Lighting Design and Technology at University of Cincinnati (CCM). She has ETC Eos training, Hog training, and ETC certificates for Networking and Troubleshooting. She is a diverse designer and programmer and strives to grow in all areas of lighting. Alaina has been a member of the Shop12 team since 2023 and is excited to continue to be involved in many new projects!
